In the last 3–5 years, I’ve worked primarily as a backend engineer with a deep focus on Golang. My core responsibility has been designing and optimizing high-performance backend systems, especially in environments where low latency, high throughput, and scalability are critical.

Most recently, I led the development of a real-time trading engine backend that handled up to 1,000 trades per second. I implemented custom order book data structures in-memory for microsecond-level access, and reduced latency bottlenecks caused by database writes using buffering and atomic balance update strategies. Prior to that, I worked on building scalable APIs for a SaaS platform, handling multi-region deployments, database sharding, and implementing zero-downtime migration strategies. KPIs I typically focused on:

Latency (p50/p95) under strict SLAs

System throughput (requests/sec, trades/sec)

On the side, I built and open-sourced a zero-allocation decimal library in Go, which was added to the Awesome Go list and used by several fintech projects. Performance, maintainability, and correctness under concurrency are always non-negotiables in my work.
