I am a hardworking, adaptable and responsible QA Engineer seeking a position in IT company which will apply the professional and technical skills gained by me over the past 4 years in this field. I have extensive experience in manual testing of frontend and backend of applications, hardware as well as a methodical, customer-focused approach to work and a strong drive to see things through to completion.

For the last 4 years (or more precisely 3 years and 10 months) I have been working at GS Labs. I started my career at the company as a Junior QA Engineer (Manual) and graduated as a Senior QA Engineer (Manual). I was involved in two of the company's IoT projects - Tricolor Smart Home and GS Labs Smart Home. I also took direct part in the development of the Smart Home IoT project for Sberdevices (GS Labs acted as a subcontractor). The project was implemented from scratch and successfully transferred to the Customer.

My responsibilities in the projects mentioned above included:

• Manual testing of frontend and backend parts of mobile (Android/iOS), desktop (TV) and web applications of several IoT projects (Smart Home). Conducted testing of new features, bug fix testing, regression testing, documentation testing;
• Writing test cases, checklists in the test management system, raising bug reports in the bug tracking system;
• Implementing test suites and creating test runs for regression and smoke testing in the test management system; 

• Preparing test data;
• API testing -> sending REST API requests with special tests checking responses using Postman/Newman CLI, checking API documentation in Swagger UI;
• Performance testing: some sort of soak testing for checking application stability -->
Hardware part -> run scripts prepared by Developers by my request;
Software (REST API) part -> run collections with tests written by me in Postman collection runner/Newman CLI;
• Cloning/pulling files of the developed application from a remote gitlab repository via git, building it and installing it on the device (SmartHub) using scripts provided by the developer;
• Hardware testing: smart home hubs and sensors;
• Interaction with vendors in cases of hardware errors of devices.

The percentage of manual testing of the frontend and backend parts of IoT projects (SmartHome) has changed over time in favor of the backend. If at the Junior QA Engineer position it was 70/30, then at the QA Engineer position it was already 50/50 while at the Senior QA Engineer position it was 20/80 as almost all the time was devoted to testing the backend part, and the frontend part was checked only as part of regression testing.
