Axiom Pro is a trusted partner in global talent solutions, helping organizations build exceptional teams and deliver transformative projects. We are currently supporting a new client in their AS400 modernization efforts and are looking for two experienced AS400 RPG Engineers to join their team.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing legacy IBM i systems while driving modernization initiatives. Your work will include refactoring RPG code, maintaining critical business logic, and integrating with modern applications through APIs and service programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and enhance existing AS400/RPG applications
- Refactor legacy RPG III/IV code into ILE or Free‑format RPG
- Develop service programs, modules, and reusable components
- Participate in design and planning sessions for system modernization
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, and DevOps teams

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience on the IBM i (AS400/iSeries) platform
- Strong hands‑on expertise with RPG (III, IV, Free), CL, and DB2/400
- Familiarity with modular programming and service programs
- Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and support modernization projects
- Good English communication skills for technical discussions and documentation
