Head of Legal Prague or Warsaw

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Head of Legal to support the legal and compliance needs of a fast-growing international digital business. You’ll work at the intersection of media, apps, and search technologies – helping scale operations across multiple jurisdictions while mitigating legal risks and building streamlined legal processes from the ground up.

✔️ About the Role:
You’ll lead all legal and compliance initiatives for a global adtech ecosystem. From handling entity registration and regulatory compliance to drafting contracts and supporting mobile app operations, you’ll be the go-to legal expert. This role is ideal for someone with strong international law expertise, a proactive mindset, and a desire to build systems and frameworks that support rapid business growth.

✔️ Key Responsibilities:
• Register new companies in various jurisdictions
• Open accounts with banks and payment systems
• Research and switch providers as needed
• Draft and edit contracts (projects, NDAs, B2B, IOs, incubators, agency agreements, etc.)
• Prepare Terms of Use, Privacy Policies, EULAs for mobile apps
• Handle KYC/AML requests from partners
• Support trademark protection and IP enforcement
• Maintain legal registries (contracts, access logs, task trackers)
• Respond to banks and company secretaries
• Dispute chargebacks and assist with financial/legal coordination
• Verify app naming conventions and platform requirements
• Assess eligibility for crypto-related contracts

✔️ Key Qualifications:
• Law degree (required); additional certifications (e.g., GDPR, compliance) – a plus
• 3-4+ years of experience in an in-house legal role or legal consulting
• Strong practical background in: contract law (NDA, B2B, IOs, incubators, agency agreements), international law, compliance, KYC, AML, GDPR
• Experience in digital, IT, or advertising – preferred
• Experience supporting mobile apps and working with App Store / Google Play – a plus
• Experience with fintech and payment providers (e.g., Oarex, Stripe, Wise) and company registration – a plus
• English – Upper-Intermediate or higher (working language)
• Other languages: Czech, Polish, Ukrainian – a plus
• Confident user of Google Workspace, Excel, and electronic document systems
• Bonus: experience with Notion, CRM, Confluence, Jira
