We are looking for an experienced Senior / Lead Developer to join a growing FinTech team and contribute to the development of advanced trading infrastructure and financial technology solutions. This role focuses on building high-performance trading systems, market data modules, and exchange connectivity solutions.
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
Format: Full-time, on-site in Limassol, Cyprus (or willing to relocate)
About the Role and Company:
You will join a European-licensed investment firm specializing in traditional brokerage, portfolio management services, and proprietary trading. The company brings together experienced professionals in wealth management, trading technologies, and compliance to build innovative financial solutions. As part of the development team, you will work on the company’s FinTech platform, focusing on high-performance and low-latency systems used in trading and market data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain components of the FinTech platform using Rust, C/C++, and Python.
• Build and optimize market data modules and trading connectors.
• Develop exchange connectivity solutions and automated trading systems.
• Design and implement high-performance asynchronous applications.
• Work on low-latency trading infrastructure to ensure efficient market interaction.
• Collaborate with engineering and trading teams to improve system performance and reliability.
Key Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of commercial programming experience.
• Strong knowledge of Rust or C/C++.
• Experience developing robust asynchronous applications.
• Experience working with low-latency systems.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Cython and Numba will be considered a plus.
• Familiarity with QuestDB, AWS API, or Akka will be an advantage.
