About Dataspike: Dataspike is a fast-growing provider of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) technology, delivering cutting-edge compliance solutions globally. As we expand, we are looking for our first Sales Manager, a key hire who will drive revenue growth and market presence. This is a great opportunity for a proactive and well-organized sales professional eager to take ownership, build strong client relationships, and contribute directly to the company’s success.
About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in the different regions. This is a remote role with frequent travel opportunities for business meetings and industry events. Your main focus will be finding, engaging, and converting potential clients (SMBs, SMEs, financial services, fintech, crypto, and other businesses requiring compliance solutions) while ensuring clear reporting and communication with leadership.
You will report directly to the CRO, taking charge of the sales process up to deal negotiation. You are expected to own your pipeline, manage workflow efficiently, and provide structured updates on progress. Success in this role is measured by KPI-based performance, including the number of meetings held, companies reached, and CRM data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities to expand Dataspike’s market.
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Source and qualify leads that fit Dataspike’s business model, leveraging your existing network where possible.
- Client Outreach & Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across fintech, compliance, and financial services industries.
- Sales Process Management: Drive prospects from initial outreach to negotiation, ensuring a seamless transition for leadership to close deals when necessary.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide structured weekly reports to the CRO, tracking progress against KPIs.
- Product Presentations: Showcase Dataspike’s solutions, emphasizing KYC/AML technology and White Label offerings to potential clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CRO and sales team to align efforts and maximize efficiency.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, compliance regulations, and competitor activities.
- Internal Syncs & Meetings: Participate in weekly internal meetings to report progress, challenges, and next steps with leadership.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years of sales experience, preferably B2B in fintech, compliance, or crypto sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, demonstrating a history of closing deals from start to finish.
- Experience in the EU and MENA market is a bonus.
Skills:
- Fluent English (B2 minimum) is a must-have.
- Strong ability to identify, engage, and convert new clients across different industries and regions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools.
- Highly organized with clear reporting skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events.
Nice to Have:
- Existing network within fintech, payment providers, banks, crypto exchanges, wallets, and compliance specialists.
- Basic understanding of custodial services, digital asset flows, AML policies, and regulatory landscapes, and why they matter for compliance solutions.
